John Cole
John and his wife, Martha, have four children. They all love working together in church ministry, as well as engaging in sports, hiking, music, and activities. John has volunteer coached youth soccer and basketball within the Lee Mount Vernon Sports League and high school basketball in the Fairfax Homeschool Athletic Association. The Coles enjoy hosting sports teams, church family, and friends over to their home for a good cookout and swim.
John has been pastoring within our church since March of 2020. Prior to that, he led a church plant that continues today in Miller Beach, Gary, IN with a paid-off building and faithful leadership. He also directed the office for a non-profit missions agency and had the opportunity to personally visit and engage in missionary work within more than a dozen countries.
John and Martha were blessed of God in working together for seven years to build and sell a small business while he pastored the church plant. That gave them added appreciation for entrepreneurs and hard working people of any good industry.
John earned his Bachelors in Pastoral Theology and his Masters in Practical Theology. In serving Christ's church as a pastor, John especially demonstrates a love to learn, teach, and help others grow in Christ. Whether it is in his preaching or leadership, he prays this is seen.
We cannot leave out that John and Martha are high school sweethearts. They met in church. While in high school, they helped John's dad plant a church in Titusville, PA, where his dad continues to pastor.
John shares a testimony of God bringing the Gospel to him at an early age. After responding to the Gospel with repentance and faith in Jesus, John was later baptized in his church and began to continually grow by God's grace. Basically, that is the testimony of all true followers of Christ.

Tom Stucke
Tom and his wife, Lynne, have two adult children and five grandchildren. The Lord has given them much life and ministry experience, from which our church benefits. During over 30 years of ministry, Tom has pastored three churches and Lynne has done much teaching in both schools and women's church fellowships.
Tom's education includes a bachelors, a masters, and an earned doctorate. Some of his doctoral training was at Cambridge University. The places in which Tom has pastored includes an ironic mixture of England and laid-back Louisiana. They both still miss the catfish! And they prefer coffee over tea. Before following God's call to pastor, Tom fulfilled a career in the U.S. Air Force.
They enjoy spending much time with their grandchildren, going on events and trips with them. It is obvious through the lives of their children and grandchildren that the Stuckes pour much love and wisdom into their family with their investments of T.I.M.E.
He shares a testimony of God's saving grace pulling both him and Lynne from a life of earthly pursuits to a life of joyful service of King Jesus. It was while they were both married and in the middle of their careers that they were confronted with and ultimately surrendered in faith to the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. They became faithful, baptized members within their church, and the Lord worked through them, as He does, through the years.

John and his wife, Beth, have been members in our church since the early days of the church. Since coming to faith in Christ, they have both served the Lord and His church faithfully. They have long been gifts of the Lord to our church.
Our church is blessed with John's leadership of our music team. In our worship gatherings, we joyfully respond to God and His gospel by singing to God and one another. God fashioned John and his wife for this ministry to our church. They both served our country as White House Marine Band members for over thirty years.
